After being recently disqualified by the Headies Academy, the contentious singer posted something on his website.
Okikiola Habeeb, better known by his stage name Portable, is a Nigerian street-hop artist who was recently rejected from the 2022 Headies awards.
The disqualification of Portable (Zazu) was announced by the Headies Awards organisers late today, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, on the official Hiptv social media accounts. They also provided the reasoning behind their decision.
Because of his claimed ties to the prominent criminal organisation “1 Million Boys,” he was disqualified. The singer threatened them in a video, saying that if the award wasn’t given to him, he would harm other nominees in the same categories. The Headies Academy also brought this to their attention.
A little while after the choice was made, the singer posted a mysterious video message on his Instagram account in which he praised his own abilities and accomplishments. The musician added that he doesn’t regret his actions, and instablog posted the information on its Instagram page as well.
