
Anderson Paak is an American Hip-hop/R&B singer, rapper and record producer who is probably best known for his albums Venice (2014), Malibu (2016), Oxnard (2018) and Ventura (2019). He first attracted attention in 2014 when he teamed up with Dr. Dre for his 2015 album Compton, on which Paak recorded a total of six songs. That same year, Paak released his debut album Venice and his second album Maliby followed in 2016. Ventura became his first successful album, peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard. In addition to his solo career, he is also part of the band NxWorries, a duo band consisting of Paak and record producer Knxwledge. He is also half of the duo known as Silk Sonic and the other is singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. Part of the duo Silk Sonic, An Evening with Silk Sonic arrived on November 12, 2021 with the lead single Leave the Door Open, which became Paak’s first song to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song received four Grammy nominations in 2022. The exuberant rapper has amassed more than 3.2 million followers on Instagram.
