Mr Eazi confirmed this deal on his official Twitter page where he informed his more than 2.9 million followers on the platform. “Excited that my company is the new sponsor of the Ghana Premier League. #ProudCeo,” he shared along with some images (below).
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) also acknowledged Mr Eazi betPawa’s sponsorship at an official signing ceremony in Accra ahead of the 2022/23 competition scheduled for September 2.
The partnership between GFA and betPawa will focus on “proper marketing and positioning the elite league to become one of the most successful and attractive on the continent,” confirmed GFA.
“The company’s strong appetite for growing and leveraging talent, creating opportunities and rewarding fans in its markets are some of the many reasons for partnering with the GFA,” revealed Mr. Eazi.
In June, betPawa struck a deal with MTN Rwanda’s Fintech subsidiary Mobile Money Rwanda to offer customers a range of payment methods.
Mr. Eazi’s rich investment portfolios also include the emPawa Africa incubator program and venture capital firm Zagadat Capital.
