Lingard Leave Manchester United After 8 Years

On Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, Manchester United announced  departure from the club on its official website.

He made his United debut in 2014 under Louis van Gaal and quickly established himself as a regular first-team player the following season, scoring six goals in 40 appearances.

Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 28-year-old was selected at the start of the 2020/21 season. He departed Old Trafford on loan to West Ham United, where he was a major member of David Moyes’ London club.

Lingard scored nine goals in 16 games for the Hammers, leading them to a sixth-place finish.
