Following the death of Yoruba movie actor Gbadebo Osmond, Nollywood celebs have been in grief.
Late Monday, Yoruba actress Fausat Abeni, well known as Madam Saje, was among the first mourners.
On her Instagram feed, the veteran actress posted a photo of a burning candle with the comment “Goodnight Osmond” and a sobbing emoji.
Other Nollywood stars, like Yomi Fabiyi, Adeniyi Johnson, and others, paid tribute to the late actor on their Instagram sites.
“Incredibly so sad and a profound painful loss, Osmond Gbadebo,” Fabiyi added. You’re a fighter, and it’s safe to say you’ve taken a break. Always cheerful, always helpful, and always pleasant. “Rest in power and tranquility.”
“”This hits differently that I can’t even upload your image,” Johnson said on Instagram. I love you, and everyone around us knows it. Oh, how I want…”
“It’s really difficult for me to say goodnight, Gbadebo Osunmo,” Ibironke Ojo-Anthony, also known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, wrote. “Rest in peace, my sweetheart.”
