Zubby Michael’s Early Life
Zubby Micheal originally named Zubby Azubuike Michael Egwu was born in the family of Mr and Mrs Egwu on February 1, 1985 in Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. However, he grew up in Adamawa state, Nigeria.
The Nigerian revealed in an interview that he grew up in a beautiful home with good parents. His father was a successful businessman while his mother was a teacher.

Zubby Michael completed his primary and secondary education in Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria.
He got admission to study mass communication at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.



Zubby Michael Career
Zubby Michael started his acting career in Yola at the age of eight. Before starting in films, he was involved in television soap operas and was featured in the cast of a 2006 drama titled Coded Hussle. He officially joined Nollywood in 2006.
In an exclusive interview, the Nollywood actor revealed that his acting career began in Asaba, Delta state, where he met a film producer who introduced him to the industry. This meeting led to him starring in his first movie titled Missing Rib.
However, Zubby Michael became popular in Nollywood when he appeared in The Three Windows, Professional Lady and Royal Storm. He was the main character in Three Windows. He starred in the film with Oge Okoye, Justus Esiri, Ngozi Ezeonu, among others.
Other action movies such as Princess Rihanna and Implication also increased his fame. These movies brought him fame for portraying the villainous role such as criminal, villain and hit man.

Zubby Michael once had a romantic relationship with the youngest sister of the former famous music duo Peter Okoye and Paul Okoyealso known as P-square.



The pair met at the traditional wedding of Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye. However, their relationship was short-lived. He later revealed in an interview that the reason for the breakup was that he was not ready to settle down. He said, “If you still have some dreams in your head that you plan to realize in the future.” Zubby Michael revealed that he would still marry her if she is still available when he is ready.
